Good place located in mid of city so accessibility is really nice. Rooms were maintained well enough, economically worth it. Only bit cleaning required on outside i.e- Corridor, lift, stairs.etc. spit stains were evident.

Rishu Bhosale

Situated very close to the old city centre, this is a good halt for staying overnight for stag or single travellers.

Amarnath Kulkarni

Kaas Plateau

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this volcanic laterite plateau is famously known as "Maharashtra's Valley of Flowers." During the monsoon (August to September), it transforms into a vibrant carpet of wildflowers, including rare species like the orchid and carnivorous plants.

Thoseghar Waterfalls

This scenic spot, about 20 km from Satara, features a series of cascading waterfalls ranging from 15 to 200 metres in height. The area is exceptionally spectacular during the rainy season when heavy rainfall increases the water volume, creating a powerful and misty atmosphere.

Vajrai Waterfall

Located near Bhambavli village, this is one of India's tallest waterfalls, with its three tiers reaching a total height of approximately 560 metres. It is a perennial waterfall that flows throughout the year but is most mesmerizing during the monsoon.

Chalkewadi Windmill Farm

Spread across a vast plateau about 40 km from Satara, this is one of Asia's largest wind energy projects. Hundreds of windmills create a unique and picturesque landscape against a backdrop of red soil and green hills. Visitors often combine this with a trip to Thoseghar.

Ajinkyatara Fort

Perched at an altitude of 3,300 feet, this "Invincible Star" fort overlooks Satara city. Built in the 12th century, it served as a strategic military base and later became a prominent capital of the Maratha Empire. Today, it is a popular spot for morning treks and offers panoramic views.

Sangam Mahuli

These twin pilgrimage villages sit at the confluence of the Krishna and Venna rivers, about 5 km from Satara. Known for their 18th and 19th-century temples built in the traditional Maratha architectural style, they offer a peaceful spiritual retreat.
